Growing Up (Lord Father)

Growing Up (Lord Father)

A Poem by kayBiE

Growing up has been the hardest
I mean I'm only 19 and I'm already drained
I just dunno how to live, I had a plan, now it's in vein
You came and crashed and and took my heart as well
I guess I'm allowing it.

Varsity was meant to be fun
But all this drama is wearing me down
All this managing life and doing what's right
Is not for me.

GOD PLEASE HELP ME
please wipe the tears from my face
Please lift me up and place a hedge around me
Please hold me
Hug me squeeze me tight and never let me go.
Father in you I seek guidance

Your love exceeds all, your love never fails
Be in me the strength that I need
Be in like the skeleton supporting my body
Be in the blood that flows
My heart that beats is kept alive by you

I understand this poem. Easy to feel tired. We need belief and good friends to keep us positive. I do a prayer daily for hope and energy daily. I like the thoughts and the prayer in the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
