A Poem by NotEasilyBroken

How lucky are we?

She used to love

She used to care

She used to smile

She even used to dance

She sometimes would sing

But now when she loves,

she loves half heartedly

When she cares its not often

And now the only way you'd get her to smile

is if you turned her upside down

Yeah she still dances, but now its on a pole

Now the only thing singing is her willingness and determenation to get out of the life she now knows

She wishes to be raptured

To a place where all could be erased

But she is a woman and just like any woman

she knows fairytales are unexistent and no pass

of hers could be erased

But she also knows she was dealt a bad hand in this world

And instead of perservering,

she let it break her, make her into something terrible, but I feel for her because

she couldve not just been she,

She couldve been me.
