Dark Places

Dark Places

A Poem by Twilight
"

An example of "dark poetry", which also has a moral message...

"

In dark places,

shadows chase us,

seeking out our every move,

But in days long past,

if life was to last,

one fought the evil ghast,

In these days of sin,

we seek to win,

every desire and every whim,

Not thinking ahead,

of a future we dread,

our thoughts but a muddled thread,

Face not fear the future,

embrace divinity's tutor,

you'll become a worthy suitor,

And it's darkness,

which shall shun you instead...

This is a very good description of the struggle between darkness and light. I wasn't sure what you meant with the line about the evil ghast, but other than that, this is a well written poem. I especially liked the last five lines. Keep up the good work!
