Blackhearted

Blackhearted

A Poem by Meridian

Blackhearted, evil…

Will never know what a good thing is

Until you are alone and cold…

With nothing of substance to hold.

Keep thinking you can continue this way,

Fooling yourself until you fall.

Fools think that they hold the key to everything…

Yet know nothing at all.

How can you even attempt to preach, or teach,

When down from your pinnacle of imperfection you reach?

Flawed in a way where you are the only one who can’t see,

Yet you act like the ONLY imperfect one is me.

You talk about real people, like you know what that’s about.

You know you are far from real.

That’s why you can only get mad and shout.

Mistake my kindness for weakness if you wish…

With the sweetest smile on my face…

Introducing… the realest B***H!

Because anyone who can take this abuse for years

Has got to be built strong.

But don’t think I’m going to take this s**t

For very long.
