Don Juan Meets La Femme Fatale

Everyone meets their match..

She dangerously invites him to participate,
In a lustful passionate affair with life itself.
One glance is all it takes,
For any man to be disarmed by her seductive charms.
Born with the gift of gab
Her words of conviction allure each of her victims,
Into her endless web of desire.
With one kiss from her ruby red lips,
Her victim will find himself speechless,
Unable to grasp the concept of what might happen next.
Even for those who claim to have impenetrable defenses,
Finds themselves ineffably lost 

Once undertaking the journey, deep into her provocative seas.
Inevitably,
The seducer becomes the seduced,

And is left drowning in waves of emotions

Never felt by his own victims.
He is filled with color and vibrancy.
And when its finally over,
He horrifically discovers,
He has fallen In lust and in love,
With everything she indulgently allowed him to experience,

Only to find, he too has been left behind..

sort of like a black widow...reminds me of that bill wither's song..."you keep on using me, until you use me up" did you mean "Her words of conviction allure..."?

anyhow...an interesting journey into the world of the naive male and the savvy female...who gets what she wants and then disappears....been with a couple people like that.

and i see him as naive to think that he is the player and not the played...maybe we could call him unaware...ha ha
any way...i guess i read it based on what i have seen...but poetry is wonderful for that...because readers get to see what they see and imagination is such a part of it.
