Silent Screams

While you are sleeping..

All throughout Asia's third world's coast

the traffic of children onto rat infested boats

blood dripping between little legs

as lustful men continue to visit beds

of innocent girls forced to have sex

you and i can't even imagine what happens next

beautiful babies who could one day become models

because they're born orphans they're forced into brothels

All for the cost of the legendary currency

People wake up this is an emergency

We must learn to deal with this dilemma

eradicating child slavery throughout the world should be an agenda

a task not to be taken lightly

if we work together maybe we can fight the

injustices happening to these poor children

What if they were your own children?

Would you still ignore their silent screams

hoping they don't become loud enough to haunt your dreams

because before we can even talk about world peace

we must learn to deal with this reality..

Such a strong issue this child trafficking is, but sadly people only grieve for the lost souls but cant really do anything to help out the poor kids.... great words chosen for a very sensitive issue.
