I Dream in Color

I Dream in Color

A Poem by Daydreamer

Millions of Petals,
in every hue
Swirling,
Scattering,
in the wind
Anxiously awaiting,
To arrive.
Hungry for sunlight
Thirst quenched
By waterless rain
Delicately fragile
And exempt
From life's pains
Here I stand
In the center
Of this miraculous
Spectacle.
Secretly hoping
Not to wake up..

sometimes dreams are the best escape...and we want to delay waking up...it is safer...

I really enjoyed the imagery here. It reminded me of a kids dream, but more serene. Great job! :)
