The Equalizer

The Equalizer

A Poem by Daydreamer
"

To whom I plead..

"
You remind us,
We are nothing.
What treasures we store
Are meaningless in the end
The end that haunts us

You make us wonder
What's the point?
If all our attempts
Will one day wash away
Within your wave of darkness
It doesn't matter if we deserve it
You know that we do.

So many sleepless nights
And close calls.
There's no escape
To the balance
You will bring.
I desperately ask of you
To let me keep one thing:
The Love....
