VoidsA Poem by Kristyn
Your presence is an illusion
But it's one I've seen before And my temptations unravel Walls fall to the floor. The darkness of your shadows As you approach my side Is the darkness in your soul? Should I stay; should I hide Flesh to flesh, and lips to lips One hand through my hair And the other grasps my hips Your strength grows faster It's deeper than I've known Are you angry with yourself You let out a moan I long to feel something Something more than a night But Anything is better Than the emptiness I fight Arm across my neck Hand upon my chest And it's now that I realize I'm your one time Guest Filling a void that we both must know The treacherous truth Of being alone © 2015 Kristyn |
