You came back

It's been four months

since you left

walked away

without a word to say

 

I missed you

my heart was broke

I cried forever

I ran out of tears

 

Yesterday

you got my attention

I started to cry

I texted you

with no reply

 

I kept looking at my phone

finally I saw your name

my heart jumped out of my chest

I started to smile

 

I asked did you remember me

You asked who was this

I said my name

you started to freak

 

You apoligized over and over

said you were stupid

that you really loved me

I told you how I felt

 

We were both crying

you said if I gave you a second chance

you'd be the best

you said you would stay

 

You said you love me

I said it back

I really mean it

but do you?

 

I'm giving you a second chance

please don't make me regret it

I'm glad you came back

but I don't want another heart brake

 

So please this time

keep my heart

please don't brake it

please don't leave

 

You're finally back

I feel whole again

I just hope

that it lasts

Hard to forgive. Second chances are rare. I like the flow of thoughts and the hope in the poem. People rarely change. That is why second chances are rare. I like the positive ending to the excellent poem.

this is so realistic! guys usually do regret breaking up with amazing girls... and you know how you feel , and you told him how you feel, but you're not sure if what he says is truth. if he hurts you again, I'll get Logan on him...lol(: don't worry, nobody can hurt you without regretting it!!
