When Will I be good enough?

When Will I be good enough?

A Poem by LeDiisco
"

Never change.

"

When I told him I liked him,

He said I wasn’t his type,

So I changed for him.

When he said I was too normal,

I started to act weird.

When he said I was too plain,

I started to wear make-up.

When he said I was too nice,

I started to act bitchy.

When he said I was too bitchy,

I started to tone it down.

When he said I was too fat,

I went on a diet.

When he said my hair was too long,

I cut it.

When he said I was too innocent,

I lost it.

When he said I was perfect,

I hated myself.

A lot of wisdom in your words. We must like what we see in the mirror. We do change with time but to change for the satisfaction of another will leave you empty. A powerful poem.

Ah, changing for someone, and forgetting about our self. This is very evident in our society... good thoughts, good thoughts.
