My thoughts when I see a soul starting to break....

Can't you see?

Can't you see?

The way she looks at you

With dispare and sadness?

 

She keeps it inside

till she finally just cries

I keep my mouth shut like the loyal friend

Yet I want to scream about your blindness

 

Typed words tell me how she feels

The struggle she goes through when you pay attention to another

I know this isn't right

She deserves that love and attention

 

Even though I don't see her

I hear her cries and feel her tears

I want to tell her everything is going to be alright

Yet I can't because I waver in my own words

 

So I'll watch her like a guardian angel

Only able to whisper sweet words

When inside my heart cries for her

Her broken eyes will haunt my thoughts

 

Why can't you see?
