Silently begging

Silently begging

A Poem by Bev

Silently begging you to ask

Wishing I could bend your mind to the task

Inside my head I chant "Just say something"

But I sit there quietly, feeling foolish more than anything

Silence overcome us

Trying hard to believe, to trust

Already open, already wounded

Happiness at this point, rumored

If I matter, than why don't you care?

Tears come to life, share with you now I wouldn't dare
