Together

Peace and at ease

I feel appeased.

I foresee us in blissful fashion

And this is more than just passion.

 

A burning sensation that has been bestowed upon me

Yet I feel like im drowning in the sea.

My heart beats like one two three,

Whilst covered in scree.

 

The mere thought of you withdrawing,

Overwhelms me with gnawing pain

 

For now I know that this is unreal,

I cannot reveal this adulation

Neither to you nor anyone

But we will always be one.

 

I suddenly awake

There you stood,

It feels so good

But I’m speechless!

It’s a weakness!

I cannot distinguish between a dream and a reality.

 

I 'l  have to wait

Hope it’s not too late.

Ohmygoodness. I am.....speechless. This is the first poem I have read of yours and I love it!!!! I love the romantic edge to this. I am a sucker for the tears of happiness and happily ever after ending kind of poetry. I like to also read poetry that paints the "perfect" picture of my ideal relationship. My favorite part:
