My idol

My idol

A Poem by Papatunde

Native to the word Beauty,
She resides in a world full of duties.
A brimming light foreshadowed by plight,
yet only exposed in the night.
Elegant but calm, she holds her future firmly in her palm.
All that she demands is to not worry
yet wishes to be worthy.

Although, at times it may seem that life has taken its toll
She must know that she is an impeccable soul.
For she epitomizes the word character,
and always strives for something better.

That person is an idol of mine, one that will forever shine.
