An Attempt At Your First Sonnet

An Attempt At Your First Sonnet

A Chapter by Leap

By sleek and thorough warrants of design,
A winsome woman finds herself true Love
Delicate creature of gifted balance,
Colorful hair; two eyes of life above
She swims these days and fights with honest ease:
Barefoot when she floats, naked as she cries,
But none are there to tame her twitching sleep,
For few have courage and sooth such fair skin
And as spring begins to pull itself up,
She sails through lonesome winds on sentiments
Near where she stops in awe, bathed in blue suns,
Finds a Love as naked as she's become
Love is weary -- in shock but elegant
He hands to her his confession of fear:
"This moment is but a mere dream, my dear..."
They share this night entangled in the air
Wiggle does her nose, lost in Lover's touch
We only fly where we are bathed in sun.
