Can not be found scribed on parchment

Nor typed within pixels on a screen.

The greatest love poem ever written

Can not be bound within a book

Nor etched in monuments to be seen.

The greatest love poem ever written

Can not abide the captivity of words

But with lovers, it survives shared between.

it's true that some feelings and thoughts are just too big for words to capture. but that's what poets are for. they make the attempt. you did well.

Isn't that the truth! Poets have attempted through the millennia to sit and compose love poems, knowing full-well their words do not even approach what true love is. This is why so many write of love: they want to add their attempts into the big barrel of what love is. Love is not a thing for words but deeds.
