~ Thine Arms ~

~ Thine Arms ~

A Poem by Misery

To know thine arms, Milady.

When all eyes see upon me

Ignobility and wretchedness;

When mine own eyes see

Hollowness and loneliness

Of a scarecrow proscribed

By a Murder of Scarecrows,

And yet...

Thine eyes must see less

Far less than all others

For thine arms do not hesitate

To cradle me within thy sanctum

Thy basilica of peacefulness;

To know, Milady

To know thine arms

Is more than all this world.
