Another Rainy Night I Suffer

Another Rainy Night I Suffer

A Poem by Leslie Philibert
"

a lot of rain here...

"
Sunk in the sodden wetlands
we wade through pools of glass
wet smoke and begging loam,

a sudden rain,warm as a child`s palm
as young fish we tumble in running brooks,
seas in our eyes, the flood

pulls us darkly under the moon
the rain a s**t at every corner;
dark as the night is water.
