just a few thoughts

The moon does what moons tend to do

and graces the windfall night.

Earthground sings as a virgin

                      high meadows will not be flooded

                      the amber of trees not frozen.

Barley resting,the sun unseen and cold

                      a summer lake dark tin

                      night birds constant.

 

Autumn leaves are not ready to rain.

We must travel again, but for now

all is as it should be.
