Still Life

Still Life

A Poem by Leslie Philibert
"

for Benard Meninsky

"
dark fruit
hard and autumnal
beyond grey

be empty
to perfection
devoted to silence
in all things at home

I like your symbolism with the fruit. Very clever and original- it's hard to incorporate symbolism in literary works. Beautiful tribute too.
