This is a sonnet I had to write for an assignment in my Pre-AP English I class. Enjoy!

The Wolves and He

By: Gabrielle E. Flinn

Shall his frame shake like trees swaying in wind?

When wolves howl within the dead of midnight.

The howls grow loud and he shakes to transcend.

Shall the moon in the sky be the one light?

The shadows increase as snow falls slowly.

Nothing to be voiced as his shaking grows.

As if his wings extend, he is holy.

Stairway to heaven, up those stairs he goes.

Higher and higher clouds fog his vision.

The moon is closer, the howls weaken too.

Shall he continue his one decision?

As if his wings follow him, he then flew.

Shall his feet again touch the softest ground?

Shall the wolves again make another sound?

I hope you will/did enjoy the sonnet, I'm not Shakespeare, so that actually took me 3 class periods to finish. Goodbye for now!
