Music Is Life

Music is my life, it is the beat of my heart and the rhythm of my soul. So anyone who has the same passion for music will understand this poem completely.

Believe in music

for it will guide the way,

with actions we cannot show

and words we cannot say.

It's more then notes in harmony 

it's more then words that rhyme,

it's more then subtle melodies

it's a message over time.

Music is not just played and heard

it's felt right to the heart,

music can lift you to your feet

after you fall apart.

It takes you to a different world 

where the mind is flying free,

where the soul is beating to the mountains' songs

a place only the heart can see.

Music can make a tear fall down

music can mend a heart,

music will always be here

as life's true counterpart. 

Believe in music

This is so true. It really brought a quote from the movie August Rush "I believe in Music, the way that some people believe in Fairytales." I think this is deffinatly true. Loved it.

I so agree with what you say about music. Like said in the movie August Rush, "Music is the one thing that reminds us that there's something els out there besides us." Music is a very big part of my life and I'm glad that I'm not alone in that :)

I like this poem alot. I can understand how music can change a life and change someones path. I can understand how if you believe in music it can help you show your emotions. I used to write songs when I was younger. It helped me alot. Now I write poetry as you know.
