Pistanthrophobia

Pistanthrophobia

A Poem by LivingDeath
"

Very short, semi abstract poem.

"
Tranquil worlds ablaze
solar flares of ocean tide,
the pulse beneath obscurity
is the dark where angels die.

Interesting...Very interesting. I read this many times and kept pondering, each time a new dimension came up. I am still thinking as I decide to write this review. When what is known and constant doesn't make sense anymore, cannot be trusted anymore, the unknown even perhaps obscure gives solace.

I will be thinking about these words for many days to come. Very deep write. Thanks for sharing.

I must add to favorites! Incredible word choice man. I don't know what kind of meaning this poem has toward me but I guess that's the mystery of it. Excellent work indeed.

Sucks to be those angels.

The title is what attracted to this poem and I had to re read the poem several times each time I get a new meaning to it. I still don't know what to make of it but at first I thought this poem was about hell then I thought it was about the end of the world aka 2012. I'm still not sure though I'd probably have to ponder over the meaning a couple times more .

Four lines. Very interesting...I love it. :)

It means to me that words can cause great rippling in the very notion of people themselves . That words can make people feel different things all together . And that because people use those words for darkness , it kills the good use of the words .
But that's just me ^^

What this means to me?
This is everythin i live for..
Trying to save the tranquil world man..
And in my life..
I'm the pulse beneath all the ugliness and obscurity...
I'm what kills the angels..
This means a fuckload to me..

Well, the first thing I get is that each line is a contrast. It seems to me to be a terribly angry person suddenly becoming nothing, ignored by society. At first, they are mad about this, but then they welcome the idea of being alone for a moment. Then the final line suggests to me that either the person has died in some way from this alienation, or they have fully accepted it and have themselves become dark.
