Oncoming winter in Maine.

Cold Season
~

In the dusk
Shadows against 
Cold brick walls 
I walk alone 
Too aware
Of the impending
Darkness.

Collar up
My feeble attempt 
To block the wind 
The approaching season
The seemingly endless 
Dreadfully frigid eternal 
Season of halted life.
