wish

wish

A Poem by Loribeth215

I wish you’d told me

All that you felt before

That separateness was pain

And that needing and wanting

Are one animal that thrives on flesh

I wish you’d told me

That there were nights

When the darkness was too empty

The time came

That you pulled away

Because of your fear

Because of my hope

You were afraid to make that one last dive

Knowing too well the secrets

in the depths of the ocean...

Is there nothing left to say?

Is there nothing left to be had?

I wish you would have told me.....

The time came

I teared up, seriously. This is where I am right now. I am struggling hard with the rejection the lost love. I feel your pain and match it with my own. This touched my wounded and broken heart. You actually reached in and took away some of anger I feel breeding inside and in it's place allowed me to feel and grieve just alittle bit.

It flows so well. A absolutely stunninlgy beautiful read. A new favorite!!
