Dear Lulucley

Telling a story in six words? That's Helena's Blue Rose Cafe challenge and it is a hard one.

I have made entries too.

In the interests of helping other writers in The Blue Rose Cafe if not in Writers Cafe, here are just a couple of thoughts:

1) You address in six words what I would call the 'Rise and Fall' of human existence;
2) There are only two guarantees in life - birth and death. Everything else is speculation;
3) Phoenixes rise from the ashes. In death, you can still see some form of recovery. In that statement there are so many variables, it would take me 100 pages to discuss the concept;
4) Soar and fall? It is the ancient rhyme of Icarus who flies too close to the suns, burns his wings and falls.
5) New ways of birth and death, read my profile. We are all but a jumble of mixed exaggerated emotion.

I am a WC member as part of Helena's Blue Rose Cafe group.

It is in the latter context I give this review.

We all need to do some reviews of others entering Blue Rose Cafe competitions.

Your comment helped me a lot^.^ I didn't mean to write about phoenix at the very beginning. My first version (not typed) is "birth, growth, soar, fallen, depressed, reborn", but for some reason, the website didn't allowed it... So I changed into this one.

Just hopping in here to say the contest is open for all Writer's cafe members and also The Blue Rose Cafe members. As you are now a member at TBRC that's cool!

Down the track II WILL have some contests for members of TBRC only but in the meantime it is "open slather for all!!"

LOL.....you have to be careful when you are in "poetry mode" that you don't bump into something. We writers can be a bit absent minded at times....it comes with the territory!
