i kiss the morning

i kiss the morning

A Poem by Lydia Shutter
"

what a beautiful morning this is!

"

wilted blossoms

burst into a rainbow of color

words once concealed

         come out of hiding

fluffy dandelion wishes

             are sprinkled with stardust

                    till they are gloriously tangible

wrinkled thoughts

                          are ironed to perfection

         filled with hope

i kiss the morning awake

'i kiss the morning awake'..
I swear i heard the morning sigh when i read that line. There's something about mornings...they are full of energy, but they're also full of tenderness. and for a poet, they are even more special. your words drift just like that gentle murmur of breeze, brushing away those last remnants of fear. so very uplifting. your poetry brings such joy, Lydi!

Sometimes the morning is the perfect time after the clutter of evening to straighten out and to kiss

your poetry is a breath of fresh air...it just flows so naturally and wrinkles our imaginations...which is a good thing.
