Demon Days

Demon Days

A Poem by M.H. Bones

You are now entering the harmonic realm...

Are we the last living souls?

Are we the last to get away to some another day?

Because it seems to be conveyed that way

they got something to say no to

From the darkest stars that force you

Ten years passed tonight, you'll flee

Let's turn forever, you and me

Alcohol, alcohol, alcohol, white light

All you'll ever be, come and save the night

Hope, sex and drugs will rust into myself holy

I need a gun cause all I do is dance

The poor people are burning in the sun

And I'm filled with guilt from things that I've seen

You got a new horizon, it's ephemeral style

Turn forever hand in hand

For all the sacred selfless days

Known to what these sayers say

Dreams are bad, our heads are mad

Crank it on blast, roll past Front Street

There was crack on the corner and someone dead

Well you know, November has come
