Without The Womyn

Without The Womyn

A Poem by Madame Murrell

HuMANity. MANkind. WoMAN. KINGdom. HIStory. Why is it that the male is treated as the default? Whoever said that men represented the world? Why do we believe in the false idea that the womyn do not stand alone from the man? The womyn give birth to the world and yet are hated by the world and blamed for all of its misery. The hatred for the womyn stems from the desire for male supremacy. They keep the womyn beneath them in order for the man to rise above and continue to rule the land, the land that the womyn grew. The truth is that man is threatened by the powers of the womyn so he makes sure to keep the womyn blind to her powers. Deep down he knows that without the womyn there is no life. Without the womyn there's no world. Without the womyn there's no form. Without the womyn there's no man

I do understand where you're coming from.
Some cultures, past and present presented and present the idea that women are inferior. Well, I beg to differ! In my eyes, women and men are the same, blessed with the same intellectual gifts. We were made for one another. As you can observe in nature, the male and female principle applies everywhere among animals and plants. The Creator, Creative Force-Spirit that created us is pure wisdom.
But I also think it is not healthy for us to use the blame game, as though women now must be allowed to seek revenge against men and vice-versa. Unity of Man and Woman should be our focus, for WE have a divine duty to reproduce and perpetuate the Human Race. There are groups out there with a separatist agenda to divide men against women, black against white and so on...
Therefore, as writers, since we are supposed to be the ones with insight, with knowledge, with awareness, with understanding (the application of which should be for the benefit of Humankind), we should be the ones educating others objectively. Obviously our aim is not to sugar-coat anything, for truth is the best course of action, but we need to be careful not to be used by those who seek to divide Man and Woman, using Feminism as a façade, a camouflage for their separatist agenda.
We writers have a duty to the people, and we are not here to separate Man and Woman.
Men and Women are made for each other.
