Hello Darlin..

Hello Darlin..

A Poem by Magdelena
"

Love, the memory never leaves, for the mind is the cage that traps it

"

Hello Darlin..
Its been a long time

Me, I'm doing okay
Been missing you is all.
Like late at night,
when the soft breeze comes through my window,
and all is quiet and still
Just the sounds of outside fills the room.
The trees gently swaying in the breeze
The hoot of the night owl
The distant drone of the passing cars,
as they pass by the town square.

On satin sheets, I lay
Heat filling my body, thoughts
Of us, you.
How the mind plays tricks, I think
Taking us towards the land of make-believe
Where only fond memories stay
The darkness disappearing into the fog

Of vapor, sweet distant dreams
Gone wrong that nothing else remains
With blinders we forge ahead
Full steam, golden colored glasses of pink hue
Dusting our sight, yet with blindness we touch the air
And tightly we hold onto those memories of wonder
Hopes that never came to be
Yet still linger upon ones mind
And I lay in its glory
Dreaming, reminiscing
Missing
You.

A soft breeze touches me
I smile..

Hello Darlin..
Its been a long time..

very sensual Magdelena!
this darling ignited so much passion and peace in your heart; how delightful to associate mother earth's touch to the sensations of shared love

What a beautiful write..from the hue of the ink to the peace in your heart, I loved it. The best word I can come up with is soft. I've never used that word to describe or respond to a poem before but I felt so serene while reading it over and over again. Thanks for giving me such a warm and fuzzy feeling so early in the morning.

What memories, triggered by a great variety of thoughts and dreams .. sensuous lines here and there, yet lovingly deep-rooted, etched in your being like true love missed and wanted back.

A feast of words, here ..

I love the story this piece tells about memories and how they can creep up when we lest expect them too. The ending is fantastic. I have had moments like this when I am alone and my thoughts drift back in time and make me smile.

What a lovely poem ... so very 'wanting' .. you are such a writer , Magdelena , and your name is as beautiful as your poetry...
I do not like the 'missing you' feelings..
