Private Thoughts

Private Thoughts

A Poem by Magnolia Liberato

Doomed to linger forever in solitude,
They will find no mate
With whom to share their violent passions,
And without whom they will face their fate.

To the secrets of the world they will be privy,
But no confidante can they find.
They are protected, but yet spurned
In the recesses of my mind.

The idea of thoughts that are protected, but yet spurned
In the recesses of your mind sounds unique and amazing.
Enjoyed reading.

Something everyone can relate to, but not something a lot of people would admit! Violent passions, those primal thoughts that must be assessed and then restrained. Enjoyed this one a lot.
