Crimson

Crimson

A Poem by Amanda Naomi
"

Created from everything to do with the color crimson and what is associated with it

"

At sunset
When passion bleeds into infatuation
An imposter mars a royal love

In an angry frustration
Inspired by an evil zeal
This hungry deceiver
Misleads two rogues
Into the fiery coals of Hell

Mutilated by the agony
Of coveting and destitution
He leads the two
By handfuls of seductive cherries
     A stimulus
Irresistible and rousing to the evils of lust

Decoys of roses
     A persuasion
To endure the adulterous humiliation
Resulting in a victimized adulteress
     Labeled a temptress
Burned by the scorn of her red letter
