Rainbow

Rainbow

A Poem by Dave

                   Rainbow

Let me slide down your rainbow

feel the colors between my toes

light up my hands, arms, my body

Yellow, orange, blue I want them all.

I'd steal the colors from the sky to add

to the rainbow I've found in your smile.

The red is for your lips I long to kiss, purple

found in your sometimes furled brow.

A beauty, arched across the sky of my mind.

  You are my rainbow.

A bit of whimsy and love always make a wonderful combination for poetry. Nice job painting a loving rainbow in this delightful poem Dave. It's nice to have a little color in these dark times.

Oh my, "let me slide down your rainbow"
that is an imaginative line with many hints of direction....
and "A beauty arched across the sky of my mind"

another exquisite line...another very romantic offering from the king of hearts.
