Truth

Truth

A Poem by Carla

They say "the truth hurts".
But honestly it heals.
They forget that pain doesn't last forever.
But at the moment it's pain that you feel.
It's lies that change the mind, that damages the heart, and keep the pain from healing.
But they don't overstand the difference.
That's why lies overcome the truth.
Who will speak the truth?
Who's willing to hurt?
Because pain comes from the truth first.
Who's willing to feel that it's pain that doesn't last forever?
Who's willing to see?
That it's pain that heals eventually.
