My Sacred Prayer

For me this piece is a metaphysical study in manifestation.

Universe, I stand before you bare, with nothing but the essence that makes up the core of my being

I ask that you recognize my existence; my hopes and my dreams

As the cosmos overshadows the five boroughs and the sun shines on the tips of Egyptian temples

I ask the Universe to make me its vessel

Launch me off like a missile and en-capsule my soul with an elemental metamorphosis

Transform my vision into a living and breathing spectacle that’s astronomical

Until my influence is pulsing throughout the spiritual and I see it in every single extraterrestrial

Feel it enter interdimensionals that have fused to become one with every dimension in the celestial

Go beyond transcend the metaphysical

Until my essence is pulsing eternal throughout that which for now for us remains incomprehensible

Universe I ask that you awaken my intelligence

Unlike majority of Americans I don’t frame the problem in terms of sin and repentance.

I encapsulate the problem in terms of ignorance

Therefore I seek knowledge in hope that I may attain enlightenment

As the cosmos overshadows Lake Mono and the sun shines on the tips of Bagan temples

I ask the Universe to make this moment epochal

Amplification colossal

Multiplied continual in intervals by the power of reoccurring decimal

As I wrestle with that which is mathematical

Grant me the essential strength that exists within a sentinel and allow me to become a channel for love that’s unconditional; along with understanding that rational but yet transcends the physical; including compassion that’s genuine and respect that’s universal

Transcend my own potential

Go beyond what is possible

Through the process make me humble and eventually dissolve all the ignorance that connects me to the illusion that is my ego

Universe I ask that you awaken my intelligence

Unlike majority of Americans I don’t frame the problem in terms of sin and repentance.

I encapsulate the problem in terms of ignorance

Therefore I seek knowledge in hope I may attain enlightenment

As the cosmos overshadows Epupa Falls and the sun shines on the tips of Phoenix temples

I ask the Universe to make my entire being a receptacle for virya (vee-de-ya)

A conduit of it overflowing perpetual fuel

Providential inspiration to cultivate the mental

Prefect the inherent quality’s to myself as a unique individual

Become a transcendental

Live in a way that’s beneficial to the earth and acknowledges the worth of every single angel throughout the comprehensible / incomprehensible

Grant me balance the lies between the practical and radical; along with patience that’s applicable / versatile

Make my wisdom pivotal; connect it virtue

To my being make it central

Allow it to radiate centripetal and make it a source that all beings may tap into

Universe I ask that you awaken my intelligence

Unlike majority of Americans I don’t frame the problem in terms of sin and repentance.

I encapsulate the problem in terms of ignorance

Therefore I seek knowledge in hope that I may attain enlightenment

I ask that you allow me to make a living creating art; off being me

Perhaps I am who I am because you have determined me to be so

Within me you’ve fused an entirely new kind of gnome

Therefore I will forge an entirely new way of being in all that is

I ask that you to expose me to literature and ideas that make my mental growth exponential

Through cultivation of the mind and meditation may I find peace

Remind me to help one person animal or insect everyday

Make me mindful every moment of my behavior towards all beings as well as of my foot print upon the earth

Allow my creative consciousness to explore truths that help others and may the process lead to you

Within my lifetime make me a living testament that proves just how amazing we can be as a species and forever awaken the Buddha within me intentionally until I’ve reached enlightenment
