Divine

Divine

A Poem by Michael (Letters and Lifelines)

So lost for so long...
Nowhere to belong.
So tired and weary, watch the years pass by...
Can I rest by your side?

A beauty deep in you,
That no one sees...
I feel it now, it whispers my name,
It calls for me.

You know my heart just falls,
If you touch me at all...
You're so divine, more than I can bear,
And this I swear...

Do you know...
That I love you?

I can't say it now...
But I love you.

Please sit with me...
Because I love you.

I'll try to show you now...

The world falls fast asleep,
When you're with me...
Face to face, but far apart,
I still feel your heart.

You're sitting at my side,
My hands are tied...
I want to hold you close, right next to me,
Just to feel you breathe.

Do you know...
That I love you?

I can't say it now...
But I love you.

Please sit with me...
Because I love you.

I'll try to show you now...

Forgive me,
I'm sorry.
I have nothing to offer...
I'm an empty seat...
Just a barren altar...
But tell me your secrets,
And I'll tell you mine.
Just stay here this moment,
And hear me this time.

Forgive me,
I'm sorry.
But I refuse to believe,
That the girl that I longed for,
Would be longing for me.
But I'm reading them closely...
There's interest in your signs.
So stay here this moment,
And hear for the first time...

That I love you...

You're still far away...
But I love you.

Please be with me...
Because I love you.

I'll try to show you now.

Thank you, Cryingkate!
That was so sweet! It's sometimes difficult to tell if the other person is into you or not and when you find out it feels great! If your ever trying to get a girl you should write her some poetry, I bet she'd love it :)

You are welcome...:)................
"But I refuse to believe,
That the girl that I longed for,
Would be longing for me."

It is difficult to believe such things and even more difficult to give them voice. Thank you for sharing.
