Praise with intimacy

You have to feel what you say.

The devil does not care about you praising the Lord until you have intimacy with the Lord. You can walk around with a bag full of scriptures and if you just memorize them, its just that. You don't feel anything and the devil knows it. However, when you have intimacy with the Lord, that's when the devil gets scared. Its like singing, if you are reading the lyric sheet, you are focusing on the lyrics to make sure they are right. When you have recited and rehearsed them a couple hundred times over, you tend to feel whats being recited. Think about songs you know from years ago. They have meanings that you didn't know existed when you first memorized them. Its the same with God, you have to numerate over and over again to have intimacy with the Lord. "My Walk"
