All I can think of is you.

All I can think of is you.

A Poem by Gray
"

Death.

"
The pipes are leaking
the house needs a roof
the cars not starting
the bills are all due
all in all, it's just terrible news
Yet all I can think of is you.

Nothing is cooking
the microwave blew
there's wet mail sitting
on the rain-soaked stoop
My back has been aching
I can't find my shoe
yet all I can think of is you.

Life's not meant to be perfect
Murphy's law still applies
Yet each time I start reminiscing
It's for sure I'll be drying my eyes.

A wilting flower passed away
from an unexpected flu
The doctor said it's too late
there's nothing he can do
It seems like only yesterday
I had to start anew
now all I think of is you.

There is a wonderful flow to this poem. It is so easy to read but carries a pretty sad message.
Love can be like this. We can think of no one else but the person who we love.
Even someone's death may seem small in comparison to the intensity of our love.

I like how you made it rhyme in order to make it seem lighthearted and slightly calm so you don't qute expect the dark ending.

Very well written. I could feel the sadness of a loved one who's passed. The ending is particularly painful. This definitely pulls at my heartstrings. Keep writing!

This is a good poem. I like the passive, easy-going tone in this until the sudden climatic sadness at the end. Nice work.

This is a beautiful poem that speaks to how hard it is to get over someone.
You've got 'death' in the description line and that is a very difficult thing to move on from and our thoughts always go back to that person who has left us. Wonderful poem, CB.

This is real deep. I personally compare the "the pipe are leaking. The house needs a roof" to a person having a hole in their heart and it needing a covering over the wound. Nothing hurts more than losing someone and this poem clearly shows it. Good Job!
