Love to Dust: Just Another Memory

Love to Dust: Just Another Memory

A Poem by Midnight_Mask
"

Just another memory.

"

You know what?

I've been thinking back,

Back to those old days,

The romantic ways.

I remember how difficult it was for me to say;

Words that are repeated lightly everyday.

You didn't need to force me too much,

I freely spoke out of love.

But it wasn't the same for you was it?

You played a game with me,

And I only now just realised that.

After we've done,

Love to dust,

You told me you never loved anyone,

But her.

So you see,

You played me like a fool,

At the time I guess I was one.

But now I've grown,

And you can't use me anymore,

I learnt to love myself even more.
