Hey little black cat, purring a cute song

Licking your paws, while in mid thought

So content with life, watching the sun pass by

No need to worry about time.

You dance as you jump, while you try to catch bubbles

Falling down and rolling around, memories of getting into trouble

Your tail twirls around, as you sulk with a frown

So easily annoyed by jokes, you mowp.

You're a year older now,

But still quite small,

A world full of wonders,

Just waiting for your call.

Todays the time for you to make your mark

Believe me cat, you've already made a start

Holding strong with all your heart

Survived adventures, that would've left scares

But you're one of a kind, one to stand and hold

Block out all those horrid things you've been told

In the journey of life,

You're the one to be,

Full of friends and family;

This is what is called luxury.
