Try and Try Again

Everything won't stop moving as the world blossoms,

A new day, a new start as they say

But how can I continue on, if I feel so torn?

 

Nothing feels the same and no matter what it is,

a new thought, a new pain that feels insane

Why can't I just move on, if I know I must carry on?

 

And as everything builds up and up,

I realise that no matter how many walls I have,

They will break.

And no matter how many times I mask,

I'm not fooling anyone.

And no matter how many times I forget,

It's still there.

 

Now with the earth at my feet,

And the world in my lungs,

I know I have no choice but to carry on.

As my goals are always set low,

And my future is very unknown,

All I can do is try and try again.
