Sea Sprite On The EstuaryA Poem by Rochelle Tyler
Previous Version This is a previous version of Sea Sprite On The Estuary. The half-turn of day floats the Pacific like a buoy set ablaze. She the water like a fisherman's boat to stay afloay before the weight of evening's head droens her round belly. Much like how the moon pulls the tide and penetrates the shore, the night strews his bulbs in her sky--shine like a billion sperm in her Milky Way. She burns below waves, a blushing light against sea floor crowns Earth's core, pushing her infant head through. Born in the East, she lie between the coastal range and furies the sky. © 2012 Rochelle TylerReviews
