A pen for my friend

for a good friend from WC's :)

Stars use dust to paint the ‘’forevers’’

Moons use the shimmer of magic

Wishes are never using the ‘’nevers’’

And seldom are recalling to logic.

Those dreams we paint on canvases…

With brushes borrowed from the stars

The pen that’s used for balances

Of those  flimsy wishes of ours…

So I’ll say again and again

Meaning every word

You’ll never need that pen

To color up the world,

For you do it smoothly

With an inner fire

Always gifting beauty

That we’ll endlessly admire.

"Wishes are never using the nevers... " Yes, more we wish, more we seem to be "Wanted" to hearts / love. So, yes, it's like .. more we write, more we please the heart with words. Heartaches can only be overcome by "words"... with the help of "literacy". After reading your insightful poetry, I say, Yes... a writer always paint the world on words and the words on universe. Beautiful work, Ana.
