A Poem by Ana B.

A tender night

For the broken heart he gave me.

Closeness falsified.

Does the pertinence have any guarantee?

In this poly fauna of laymen

I bent and plucked

The Stygian wings of the raven

That has had this world so heavily drugged

With the stench of despair.

Imbibed till up in the exosphere

Yet the world painfully unaware

But adoring and sincere

Over the gluttony’s  reverie

the world's absolutely so patched with some kinda plentiful pain that oft. disturbs us all overnight esp. when the "gifts -- the blessings" of love get turned into the "omens" of curse. quite an intriguing poetry you come to paint down in such heartfelt words. beautiful, as always. amazingly done, as usual. xoxo ;)

wow, you can make heartbreak sound good, Ana...

your phrasing is so beautiful...

i like the clash of feelings in this poem...it tugs at our hearts, positively and negatively...

just the way love stretches us both ways.

Deep, deep and personal, perhaps.. or there again, richly imaginative and finely put.

Seems we feast on whatever desire at our disposal, not caring the result, just focussing on the involvement. And, whether good or bad, the memory retains what seemed vital at THE time. A private moment etched unseen by propriety. Perhaps.

We're expected to blend ...in... with the silence ...after. Some have intent just because they CAN - take as they please. And I wonder how they accept their own being taken.
