Don't you worry your pretty little head m'dear, I've started work on my very own shrine to you. Not quite on the scale of the Taj I'll be the first to admit, in fact I'm actually converting an old telephone box......at least when I join you we'll be nice and snug :)))

I think Taj is just overrated...... as per my thought process...for her after death whatever he built doesn't make any sense...if he had treated her with love we are not even sure of that...and the cruelty of cutting peoples hand after creation of something..horrifying isn't it... . I don't think he was capable of love lol... :p

First time I saw Taj, I was overwhelmed by its beauty, like a large pearl sitting in the middle of a garden, the bright blue sky behind....I do wonder about the love of Shahjahan...poor lady bore 14 children... imagine! Thank you for your thoughts and for reading .

Although the Tajmahal is incredibly beautiful, I believe that it still can't top what the heavens hold for us. The galaxies with all their splendour can't be beaten. Not only that, they are there for everyone. Lovely little Haiku.

There was never a lover so generous.. never a man who had the 'wherewithal' to have built such an exquisite maRble mausoleum for his darling wife. To see it near dawn finds it pon a rising haze.. magical.. And so is your brief but special tribute. (Had to reword my review, was horribly flowery..)

Taj Majal is an awesome blues musician I loved for years. But I read your poem to signify the act of building a world-famous structure of magnificence to honor one’s beloved thru the ages.
