is camouflaged

underneath

a bed of lies

 

no one sees

the true facade

 

there are scars

to your beautiful.

a sad write as bruises signify a love in distraught, where the abuser fears losing the love of his life but has no control and lashes out and the victim also loves but in fear to let go as the abuse may continues. a no win situation sadly and hidden by a mask from all or those to afraid to speak.

yes women live in terror, i know a lovely woman friend who is subjected to this abuse but is too scared to make the break and sleeps in her car in the drive.
