Scars to your beautiful

Scars to your beautiful

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers
"

...domestic abuse

"

Scars to your beautiful

the black and blue

is camouflaged

underneath

a bed of lies

no one sees

the true facade

there are scars

to your beautiful.

a sad write as bruises signify a love in distraught, where the abuser fears losing the love of his life but has no control and lashes out and the victim also loves but in fear to let go as the abuse may continues. a no win situation sadly and hidden by a mask from all or those to afraid to speak.

You're welcome! ☺
yes, scars...and the beauty outside often hides the ugly within...the torment within...not all scars are physical.

this is a really thoughtful piece of writing.

I took a chance writing with a bit of diversion. Thank you, Jacob.
How your words confess such haunting thoughts, that love, that which gives and protects, could become something that cuts and scars. There is no darker betrayal. xo
