Extraordinary at Best

Extraordinary at Best

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

… a stem came through my side of the fence and flowered on its own. Pretty amazing!

 Extraordinary at best

Narrow shafts of light

foster a garden stem  to grow,

to inhabit the earth

with a profusion of splendor

to become extraordinary

at best.

Beautiful photography Kelly and words to match. There is beauty everywhere for those of us who search. Unfortunately most people with their busy lives, go about their business with their eyes closed. There is a wealth of beauty in places where you would least expect to find it.Nicely expressed.

going good, no worries here...and my pleasure entirely.........Neville..
The beauty and the strength of nature- like non other- persistence under all conditions adapting to whatever comes its way- human nature can learn a lot from nature- wonderful expression of beauty🌹

Human nature can truly learn from Mother nature in that respect. Thank you so much!
Beautifully succinct piece Kelly, considering that it is a description of how life comes into being. Ma nature doesn’t really do boring and mundane, she is more of a “knock your socks off” kinda gal. 

...thank you, Julie! Hope the new year is treating you kind.
This is awesome for several reasons. I love the concept & that you decided to focus on this one thought in a straightforward way, yet this idea can also fan out & cover many other scenarios in life. I love the pelargonium picture (a favorite flower of mine) peeking thru the fence. This reminds me of a delicate creeping vine that pops up around my place, growing beautifully in the most unlikely places. A refreshing moment of attention (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you ever so kindly, Anand!
and You did captured it my friend! I've visited You long time ago read some of Your poems and left You few reviews, but I know the site doesn't always notify You, I don't remember that I read this one, You did more than a wonderful job, delivering how the little wondrous beauty is but the incarnation of the whole beauty, a symbol of life, of love, of surviving, of beauty even in the most unknown, smallest or darkest places, Your choice of words is really amazing, the title alone is wondrous! some ignore these littlest things, I'm really happy You are not one of them, gifting us this little wonder :)
