Te'saba

Te'saba

A Poem by Murtaza Kanue
"

The mysterious death of my grandpa (Haji Ghulam Ahmed Kanue) left my every family member in shock. We miss you alot Te'saba. *Kanue means anything made up of stone.

"
January 19th,
Black day for The Stones
Father of seven
You left them alone.
Mysterious demise,
Disturbing the minds,
They couldn't believe
He is no more alive.
At Freezing temperature
Time of the dawn
Dead on a road
In Chille-kalan.
Some said an angel
Came down from the jannah.
It lifted the soul
Of old man on road.
Clairvoyants they were.
They shared their dreams
And we believed them all.
So many questions
Come into our minds
We have no perspective
On death of this kind.

Ty, it means alot.
Hard to accept a death under any circumstances, but when you don't know how it happened, it is even worse. My family had a similar experience and I can relate. Too many questions make the grief even worse. Sorry for your loss. Your poem expresses honest emotions and does so with great rhyming. Lydi**
