Don't you wish you could sometimes run.

Clean the kitchen, clean the room

Don't forget the mop or broom

I must clean, get the job done

Inside... I wish I could run...

 

Write,study, learn, and read

Got my essays written, rest is what I need

I must maintain my grades, get this done

My head hurts, I can't take no more

My muscles ache, my bones are sore

I need my rest! I am done

My mind is made, I'm going to run

 

I gather my things, tie the knots tight

Tonight I leave, tonight I take flight

My letter of pain is written and done

Tonight I take leave, tonight I run

 

Not one person awake,all are asleep

All is quiet, not one peep

I lay the letter down, the deed is done

Crying, I whispered, I have to run...
